The Delhi Metro is a mass rapid transit (MRT) system that runs through the National Capital Region of India, connecting Delhi with its satellite cities of Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Noida, and Bahadurgarh. [8] The network has 12 color-coded lines that connect 255 stations, totaling 348.12 kilometres (216.31 mi) in length. It is the second-oldest metro rail system in India, behind the Kolkata Metro. The network uses both broad-gauge and standard-gauge to connect a variety of underground, at-grade, and elevated stations. Over 2,700 journeys are made by the Delhi Metro every day between 05:30 and 23:30.
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), constructed the staff quarters at Vinod Nagar Depot of phase III, while the construction was executed by VRC Constructions. In East Delhi, India, Vinod Nagar is a residential neighbourhood next to Kalyan Vas Janta Flats, Sanjay Lake Park, and Mayur Vihar Phase-II.East Vinod Nagar and West Vinod Nagar are separated. It is located across the Yamuna River, only a short distance from Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station and Connaught Place.
These staff quarters, which provide the most room, good connectivity to numerous modes of transportation, top-notch modern facilities, and reasonable rates, are available to DMRC employees. The project by VRC Group included building multi-story skyscrapers, and it was successfully completed in 3 years. The project was completed on February 15, 2018, by VRC Constructions for 69.19 crores.
