VRC Group is honored to begin a landmark project, the Composite Works (Package A) of the Convention Center at ONGC, Goa, with an estimated value of ₹440.03 crore. This center, envisioned to host international and national events, trade shows, and conferences, will significantly enhance Goa’s profile as a premier destination for business and cultural gatherings. Designed to achieve a GRIHA 5-Star rating for sustainable practices, the Convention Center will set new standards for India’s event infrastructure.

Project Overview: A Vision for Excellence
The ONGC Convention Center is designed to be a world-class hub that will elevate the nation’s capabilities for hosting large-scale events. Key features and facilities include:
- Plenary Auditorium: A primary feature with seating for 5,000 people, the auditorium will facilitate large gatherings like conferences and cultural performances.
- Expansive Exhibition Hall: This hall and foyer area will cater to trade shows and exhibitions, providing a premium space for industry interactions.
- Supportive Facilities: The center will include designated entrance and registration areas, a cafeteria, and VIP amenities to ensure a smooth experience for all attendees.
Additionally, external development such as road networks, drainage, signage, and landscaping will complement the internal facilities. These elements are meticulously planned to support the seamless execution of the IEW 2026 scheduled at ATI Goa in February 2026.
Core Project Components
The project is segmented into two primary packages:
- Package A – Encompasses the Convention Centre and Exhibition Hall with integrated facilities like a 4,760-seat plenary hall, multifunctional areas, advanced AV and IT systems, and architectural features that align with contemporary aesthetics.
- Package B – Focuses on the Management Training Facility and external development, including road infrastructure, rainwater harvesting, and sustainable landscaping.

For Package A
- Civil, Structural, and Architectural Development: Ensuring robust structural integrity and aesthetic alignment with ONGC’s vision.
- Electrification and Public Health Engineering (PHE): Integrating advanced electrical systems, water distribution, and drainage, along with an efficient sewerage network.
- Fire Safety and Mechanical Systems: Incorporating fire suppression, HVAC systems, and elevators for secure, comfortable operation.
- Communication and Security Systems: High-tech solutions like VoIP, EPABX, and surveillance systems will ensure seamless communication and security.
For Package B
- Management Training Facility: A building dedicated to administrative and training needs, featuring conference rooms, classrooms, and administrative offices.
- External Development and Utilities: Infrastructure for roads, footpaths, rainwater systems, and signage to ensure full functionality and convenience.
Emphasis on Sustainability and GRIHA-5 Star Certification
