This project encompasses the 6-laning of the Ambala-Chandigarh Greenfield stretch, extending to a spur connecting to Lalru, and the development of a 4-lane stretch in Punjab. The project spans a total length of 30.828 kilometres, featuring a meticulously planned and engineered corridor to meet the growing demands of transportation and logistics in the region.

Project Details

The Memmadpur (Ambala) to Banur Project will involve a total length of 30.828 kilometres, incorporating a 6-lane configuration to handle increasing traffic volumes effectively. The construction is scheduled to be completed within a period of 730 days, ensuring timely delivery of this crucial infrastructure.

The project’s total cost is ₹941.58 Crore, with a project value of ₹678.62 Crore and a bid security amounting to ₹6.79 Crore. The development will include 43.42 kilometres of service and slip roads, enhancing accessibility to local areas and improving traffic flow. 

Additionally, the project will feature 7 vehicular underpasses (VUP), 1 vehicular overpass (VOP), 10 large vehicular underpasses (LVUP), and 2 small vehicular underpasses (SVUP). Seven flyovers, 2 major bridges, and 6 new minor bridges will be constructed to facilitate efficient and uninterrupted travel. A dedicated toll plaza with 16 lanes will be established to streamline toll collection and minimize congestion.
